Lena Nazarian, Alain Simonian and Vahe Enfiajian elected NA Vice-Chairmen

Lena Nazarian (124 for, 3 against) and Alain Simonian (109 for, 20 against), Vahe Enfiajian and Prosperous Armenia faction were elected deputy chairmen of the 7th convocation National Assembly. 108 MPs voted for him, 19 for Mane Tandilian.

Lilit Makunts, head of the “My Step” faction, stated that the election of his faction was based on a clear political principle and, as a result of the heated debate, they came to a decision that would give preference to the opposition, which is more. 

Three political forces are represented in the National Assembly of the 7th convocation of the Republic of Armenia. “My Step” bloc, “Prosperous Armenia” and “Light Armenia” parties. The position of one of the NA Vice-Presidents according to the Constitution should be given to any of the NA opposition factions.

Lena Nazarian and Alain Simonian were the candidates for the “My Step” faction. Two candidates were Prosperous Armenia party candidate Vahe Enfiajian and “Candidate Armenia” party candidate Mane Tandilian.

Ararat Mirzoian was elected Chairman of the 7th convocation National Assembly
