Mikela Aynedjian Wins Gold at The 48th Pancyprian Track and Field Championship

16 year-old Mikela Aynedjian won the Gold medal in the 1,500 race at the 48th Pancyprian under-18 Track and Field Championships that concluded in Limassol

On Friday 20 July, 2018 Mikela Aynedjian slashed her personal best by 10 seconds running under five minutes for the first time this year. With her win in the 1,500 meters, she gained a spot in the Cyprus National Team and will represent Cyprus in the Sports Meeting between Greece and Cyprus that will take place on Tuesday 24 July. Mikela Aynedjian is a student/athlete of the Kykko B’ Athletic Lyceum. Last summer she won two Gold medals for Cyprus in the Women’s 800 and 1,500 event at the 2017 Pan-Homenetmen Games representing Homenetmen – AYMA.
