Թուրքիան հարուածած աղէտալի երկրաշարժներէն վնասուած է նաեւ այժմեան Թուրքիոյ մէջ գտնուող միակ հայաբնակ գիւղը՝ Վաքըֆը: Բարեբախտաբար, մարդկային կորուստներ չկան, սակայն մեծապէս վնասուած են գիւղի բնակելի տուները, պատմական արժէք ունեցող կառոյցները եւ եկեղեցին:

Ձեռք երկարենք մեր ազգակիցներուն, եւ մեր մասնակցութիւնը բերենք գիւղի վերականգնումի աշխատանքին, որպէսզի Ս. Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ ղօղանջները կրկին հնչեն պատմական Մուսա Լերան լանջերէն: Հո՛ն կ’ապրին մեր հայրենակիցները, որոնք յաղթահարելով ամէն դժուարութիւն, կառչած մնացին մեր պապենական հողերուն, հակառակ բազմաթիւ մարտահրաւէրներու, մուսալեռցիի անկոտրում կամքով պահպանեցին մեր բարբառը, մշակոյթը եւ սովորութիւնները:

Այսօր, որպէսզի մուսալեռցին շարունակէ ապրիլ իր հողերուն վրայ, որպէսզի բարբառն ու սովորութիւնները շարունակեն ճոխացնել Վաքըֆի կենցաղը, զօրավիգ կանգնինք գիւղի բնակչութեան եւ մեր նուիրատուութիւնները փոխանցենք գիւղի եկեղեցւոյ դրամատնային պաշտօնական հաշիւին՝

Let us rebuild Vakifli and preserve our ancestral heritageWe are deeply saddened to share with you that the devastating earthquakes hit also Vakifli, the only remaining Armenian village in Turkey. This village is not only a physical location but also a place that embodies the rich Armenian culture, and traditions.

Unfortunately, the earthquake has left the village in ruins, and the houses are no longer habitable. We urgently need your support to rebuild Vakifli and preserve our ancestral heritage.

The loss of Vakifli goes far beyond just the buildings and homes that were destroyed. It means the loss of a unique cultural heritage, where people still speak the Armenian Dialect of Musa Dagh and live with their traditions and culture.
